This book is so good! The author, Francis Chan, wrote something that stayed with me all day yesterday . . ."In about 50 years (give or take a couple of decades), no one will remember you. Everyone you know will be dead. Certainly no one will care what kind of job you had, what car you drove, what school you attended, or what clothes you wore. This can be terrifying or reassuring, or maybe a mix of both."
Life is to short to be bitter, materialistic, angry, depressed . . .you get the picture. I should be doing all I can to Love Him. Not JUST go to church, pay tithes, serve because I think that's what a 'good' Christian does. Not JUST stay away from things like drinking, gossiping, seeing certain movies because that's what a 'good' Christian would do. Of course I should be living a life that is glorifying to Him . . .that is a given . . .but I should also have a deeper love, a 'Crazy Love' for Him!!! After all that is the most important thing~
"Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’This is the first and great commandment"
Matthew 22:37-38
I am relaxing this week! Last week was pretty busy . . .
Wednesday night at church they had a Bible Character Party for the kids!!! And on Friday Josh's Kindergarten class (along with the Pre-K class) had a Pajama Party~ it was SO cute to see all the kids SO excited . . .
I signed up to make the Cupcakes! I saw this cute pumpkin idea that I wanted to try. But after decorating about 8 cupcakes I was over it and went to chocolate & vanilla icing with Candy Corn on top . . .
Josh helped me make treat bags for his classmates . . .

Happy Wednesday:)

I agree with you--it's not enough to just go through the motions of being a Christian. Because, after all, God looks into our hearts, and knows us better than anybody else, even us!
cupcakes & treat bags are too cute!
I get all my fonts from kevenandamanda.com
